Case 4: Target-site resistance against ACCase and ALS inhibitors
The biotype shows the following variations:
ALS: Trp-to-Leu574 (resistance to HRAC 2),
ACCase: Ile-to-Leu1781 (resistance to HRAC 1)
Results:
- All tested ACCase and ALS inhibitors are ineffective
Strategy:
- Only products free from ALS and ACCase inhibitors can be used post-emergence.
- These areas are considered „remediation areas.“
- Crisis management in crop production is necessary!
